Through timelines, maps and illustrations, Jeremy Norman has documented the history of books from the beginning of recorded history to the present day. A subset of Jeremy’s HistoryofInformation.com project, I worked with Jeremy to display this data in an interactive timeline format, providing a visual journey through the history of books, manuscripts, bibliography, libraries, the history of printing, the history of the book trade, and related subjects.
I love making data beautiful and accessible.
